Sorry for the silence, doves!

These past few months... have been HELL.

The holidays are a horrible time for us, and well, I'm not gonna lie, this holiday? Was the worst one I've had in years.

Here's a run down:

• I had to work overtime in my irl job - even with dangers of covid. It's a security job so... we're, sadly, not treated that well... the people we're supposed to protect treat us like dirt.
• We've been fighting eviction - our state just dropped the protections we had a tenants... It's not been fun. This is the closest to being homeless I've ever been. We're almost caught up tho! I'm exhausted from overworking but... at least my wife and I are safe! That's all I can ask for.
• I have barely done any artwork - my anxiety has been FAR too high.
• and we haven't had health insurance and have been fighting back and forth with the marketplace to get it... they kept giving us the run around... I still don't know why.

I know this whole thing is long but... it's been a hell scape for us over here.
